Sales Project Specialist_____________________________________________________________________________________ POSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the Sales Project Specialist, the Sales Support Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day sample shipment process and will support the sales team to help coordinate internal sales-related activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for planning the assembling, shipping, and delivery of all samples within the Canadian and USA markets. This includes but is not limited to:Order and prepare supplies required for shipment (order dry ice and cooler box)Prepare & print labels in addition to the specification sheets that can be included in the shipments.Label and pack product or samples.Preparing CFIA, FDA, and USDA product documentation.Maintaining interdepartmental relations to meet sample shipping requirements.Coordinating sample inspections and signings with CFIA Agents and the CFIA Veterinarian.Maintaining communication and providing periodic updates with the Sales team on tracking of the shipments.Manage the Sales sample section of the R&D freezer including:Keeping track of inventory through product type, lot numbers and production dates.Maintain and ensure rotation of all products.Disposing of expired inventory when necessaryProvide ongoing administrative support to the sales team and organization of sales materials (i.e., product catalogs, images, fact sheets, sell sheets)Performs other tasks related to his / her area of expertise, as needed.SKILLS/ABILITIES:Organization, detail orientedAbility to prioritize & multitask in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual (French, English)Ability to meet deadlines.Great communication skillsAble to work independently and be proactive.Ability to work in a team environment.Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office REQUIREMENTS:
