Chery Industrial Canada Corp. is growing rapidly and currently seeking Sales Assistant in the Quebec area to grow our presence.

What do we do?

We are a wholesaler and retailer of industrial, agricultural, and automobile products, with branches in the United States and Canada. Our products cover large storage structures, shipping containers, work benches, portable houses, portable toilets, fencing, iron gates, skid steer quick attachments, handling tools, etc.

Since 2008, we have been continuously serving businesses by providing cost-effective solutions to our customers from a wide range of industries, including farming, excavation, construction, mining, pilot schools, camping parks, snowplowing, landscape, automobile, and military.

Job Overview

Our Sales department is in search of a Sales Assistant to join us on an intermediate basis. You will be responsible for handling the daily activities of the store. You will also be responsible for resolving customers' complaints and issues in a professional manner.

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will be working in coordination with the sales team and the Sales Manager. You should have excellent experience in the sales and customer service industry, possess good decision-making skills, and the ability to communicate efficiently. You should also have good organizational and sales skills.

Responsibilities

Meeting sales targets and sales goals efficiently.

Building relationships with old and existing customers.

Attending meetings and daily standups.

Monitoring the performance of the sales staff.

Ensuring the store is well stocked and restocking them as and when required.

Assisting the Sales Manager in planning effective sales strategies.

Addressing customers' issues in a timely manner.

Performing administrative tasks of transactions such as recording and filing details.

Adhering to the work policies, ethics, and regulations of a firm.

Requirements

Language: English and French (required)

Working experience as a Sales Manager Assistant, Sales Assistant, or a similar role in the Sales Department.

Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.

Ability to provide amazing customer service to clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.

Knowledge and experience using effective sales strategies.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

Excellent ability to make a timely decision.

Good sales and people skills.
