The opportunity:

Valnet is seeking a highly analytical and driven Business Analyst that shares our passion for all things digital to join our rapidly growing sales team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for creating reports, generating actionable insights, and facilitating coordination between the accounting, sales, and ad operations teams. You will be responsible for analyzing our needs and business requirements and ensuring that the deliverables align with the requirements. Your work will inform and drive success within the Sales Team and larger revenue efforts within Valnet.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Accounting team in organizing and reporting on Sales Revenues during month end accounting processes
• Occasionally work with the Product Team to integrate key reporting insights into Valnet’s internal reporting tools.
• Perform general data-related assessments and distribute reports to Sales Teams to communicate to clients and partners.
• Create relevant reports to provide necessary insight into the sales efforts for all stakeholders.
• Analyze industry trends and understand where critical revenue levers need to be expanded
• Liaison between the Sales, Accounting, and Ad Operations team to ensure workflows remain efficient.
• Identify areas to improve on within the existing sales workflows
• Track and communicate the progress of multiple ongoing projects to the Sales team lead.
• Compile and interpret data to inform key decision makers.

What you need to succeed:

• Outstanding organization and time-management skills.
• Excellent understanding of data.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Sales Force, Zoho CRM, or Power BI is an asset
• Experience working in a complex, multi-team environment.
• Capable of quickly grasping complex concepts.
• Work well as a team as well as independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to take charge of own tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with SQL is an asset
• The ability to ask intelligent, probing questions to get a better understanding of needs.
• Experience in a similar role or the drive and ability to do what it takes to get up to speed quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving thought process.
• Highly process-oriented and detail-oriented.
• A strong self-motivated learner.
• Meticulous attention to detail and capability of producing flawless work.

You’ll use:

Excel, GSuite products, Google Analytics (UA and GA4), DataStudio/Looker, Slack, Google Search Console, Asana, a CMS, and in-house products.
