THE ROLE

The Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting to include sourcing strategies to support excellence in hiring. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and create job descriptions and postings
• Conduct full cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and providing meaningful input into hiring decisions
• Participate in and support the onboarding process for new employees.
• Utilize applicant tracking system
• Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
• Build networks and research new sources for active/passive candidate recruiting.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Establish recruiting plans to ensure emerging practices in areas of recruitment and selection and workforce analytics support Appleby’s staffing and hiring needs
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships and employees.
• Prepare and compile administrative documents such as reference checks and pertinent credentials to support hire

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong understanding of behavioral based interview process
• Post-Secondary Education
• Proven experience building & maintaining candidate networks
• Must maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Experience conducting full-cycle recruitment
• Demonstrated ability to build strong and trusting relationships with candidates, managers, employees and peers
• Exceptional skills on MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and HRIS systems
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with a strong attention to detail
• Innovative thinker, able to use and develop new sources for recruitment.
• Demonstrated skills in pipeline management in an Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar environment
