Contract: Full-time and Permanent

Your role @ Chanel:

As IT Manager, you will work as part of the Regional Tech Team to ensure that Regional and Global projects, processes, and architecture answer the needs of the Canadian business and are successfully deployed into Canada. You will lead the IT practice and work with the IT team to implement the technology strategy for the company.

• Be a key member of the UK Region Tech Leadership team.
• Implement of the Regional and Global IT strategy in alignment with the local management committee;
• Manage the IT team of 6 people;
• Implement efficient operating models to provide the adequate support model;
• Promote a culture of transformation and inspire the team to be at their best;
• Collaborate with all the business partners to deliver the projects portfolio;
• Ensure running operations are safe and regularly maintained to keep them operational;
• Ensure that projects are managed in time and within budget;
• Build the IT roadmap to achieve the strategy with the IT team;
• Define the ideal organization and development plan for the team;
• Ensure our data is protected and work with Information Security to protect our systems;
• Comply with internal policies and local regulations;
• Modernize and professionalize IT Services;
• Navigate the governance matrix, to balance business expectations and the IT team’s ability to deliver;

What you will bring to the role:

• Excellent ITIL / ITSM skills and appreciation;
• Experience in a senior IT leadership position with excellent team management capabilities;
• Writing and Speaking proficiency in French will be considered a strong asset to communicate with our colleagues across Canada.
