It Security Specialist - Home Based

Within a clinical trial, recruiting patients to participate is frequently the most difficult and time-consuming activity. To conquer this, AutoCruitment has developed a targeted, direct-to-patient online marketing platform to recruit, screen, and refer patients for clinical trials and specialty procedures.We are currently looking to strengthen our team at AutoCruitment and are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist. With our continued growth, we are looking for proactive, positive, and self-motivated individuals with a shared commitment to quality to join our supportive and dynamic team. The IT Security Specialist will drive our Security Policies and manage our IT Team to manage and main our IT Systems Infrastructure. The IT Security Specialist will lead and manage our Tech Ops team throughout the project life cycle, from the start-up phase to project completion, and will be responsible for system setup and configuration for our Patient Recruitment Programs.
.As an IT Security Specialist, you will lead the Tech Ops team, working with cross-functional departments in the setup and configuration of projects within the AutoCruitment Application. You will be the primary technical point of contact for our internal teams throughout the project life cycle, from the start-up phase to project completion. You will work with other departments to get projects set up and configured throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead the IT Team to provide technical assistance for troubleshooting hardware and software requests. Also, you will drive IT System security compliance and policies, develop processes and fulfill our business needs. You will have the opportunity to innovate; explore solutions and tools to further strengthen and streamline our IT infrastructure.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Lead IT Security Compliance Program.Lead the Tech Ops Team, communicating effectively with the cross functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and business goals.Perform quality assurance checks on system configurations.Document our processes and procedures using SOPs to support our quest for continual improvement.Train employees on software and hardware – including setting up and leading ongoing training initiatives on software programs used.Setup and configure projects in the AutoCruitment Application (Database/HTML/Application Support).Set up and support internal software applications to ensure efficient workflows and processes.Utilize Google Tag Manager to setup, deploy pixels, and integrate with other marketing platforms.Setup, configure, and manage domains (domain registration, DNS management, and domain transfers)Setup websites and install tracking scripts.Anticipate potential problems and take action to solve them before they impact users.Assist employees with general IT skills and training (Microsoft Office 365, Project Management Tools, IP Phone).Assisting with staff onboarding and offboarding as needed (account setup, laptop configuration, shipping, initial training).Adapt to new technologies and initiatives as we are a rapidly growing company.
Key qualifications for this role include:Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT systems or relevant discipline.Minimum 6 years of experience as an System Administrator or similar role.Proven experience leading data security and compliance programsProven experience working with M365 (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Azure AD, etc)Proven experience working with domain and web server managementWorking knowledge of HTML/CSSWorking knowledge of pixels and UTMsExperience in Google Analytics configuration, Google Tag Manager and implementing pixels is preferred.Proven ability to work across teams and departments to implement initiatives.Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.Flexibility in work hours and willingness to learn.Well-organized, self-starter with a “can do” attitude, Fast learner with new software.Excitement for the mission: We are passionate about removing the patient recruitment barrier from clinical trials.Collaborative, Self-Motivated, Hardworking, Independent, Transparent, Supportive: These are important attributes for the AutoCruitment Company Culture.
