It- Support Engineer - Expert

Position Purpose:
Deliver key technology solutions for critical applications and systems, providing hands on day-to-day production support and user support as needed. This position will work across all technology and support teams as well as interact with technology teams across LOBs to share and utilize knowledge and best practices.
As a Production Support Specialist in Global Asset Management’s Investment Platform’s Team, you will partner across business and development squads to specialize and support in-house investment and related applications. The Production Support Specialist will manage and maintain Investment Platform’s suite of applications ensuring application technology is compliant with enterprise security standards and have a deep understanding of the underlying code to troubleshooting and developing small enhancements.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience:

• Knowledge of the following service and their operation: Kafka, Ranger, Knox
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence or similar tools
• Experience working on a cluster/grid environment
• Solid Linux/Unix Knowledge
• Exposure to Docker/UCP/Kubernetes
• Administration Experience
• Knowledge of HDFS, Yarn, Hive, Zookeeper, MapReduce
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Experience with Monitoring Tools used to monitor stack
