Post-secondary education in a related technical field

2 years' experience in a customer facing technical position

Experience with the following technologies: Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SCCM, DHCP, DNS, WIFI, Satellite, VSat, Active Directory

Excellent and customer focused communication skills while building a professional relationship with end users

A continuous learner: acquiring new skills and software applications is second nature

Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications

Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and training to less experienced developers and other team members

Participating in the testing and quality assurance process to ensure that software meets business requirements and user expectations.

8+ years minimum of relevant work experience.

Extensive experience (5-10+ years minimum) in software development, with a track record of successful project delivery

Certifications in relevant technologies and software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, DevOps, etc.)

In depth knowledge with project management methodologies

Identification and management of dependencies between individual projects in the program

Identification and management of the overall critical path

Ongoing communication of project status, completing the weekly/monthly Engagement Status Reports and escalating issues to the senior management, as required

Facilitate and support the change management process for project delivery

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (i.e., OSFI)

Experience in a senior IT leadership position with excellent team management capabilities;

Implement of the Regional and Global IT strategy in alignment with the local management committee;

Manage the IT team of 6 people;

Ensure that projects are managed in time and within budget;

Excellent ITIL / ITSM skills and appreciation;

Drive, to manage the project portfolio and develop the team;

Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration degree or equivalent in education and experience.

Develop, update, and continually analyze business system requirements, including system issues and opportunities with the intent of maximizing business resources.

Ensure that resources are being prioritized and managed based on needs and/or risk to the business.

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Manage various projects and play an advisory and liaison role between Perpetua and the greater technology teams

You have leadership experience and can lead a team of IT professionals

Generate monthly KPI reports enabling management to evaluate the effectiveness of IT service delivery to end users.

Possessing 5-7+ years of experience in overseeing information technology operations and projects within a corporate work setting.

Exhibiting the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.

Lead a team consisting of analysts and maintain relationships with IT vendors supplying products and services.

Develop and execute IT initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Safeguard the security of the organization's IT systems and uphold data privacy.

Experience working with Google Workspace, Atlassian's suite of products, and enterprise management systems (such as Active Directory)

4+ years of experience in similar leadership role

Experience recruiting for a consulting company preferred

University Degree from a recognized institution or equivalent formal educational program and relevant IT technical and project management experience

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful IT management experience in Infrastructure

Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills

Proven experience in IT project development and management.

Assist senior management with review of IT vendors in procurement

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Ability to independently lead large/cross-functional projects, manage and mobilize a team of individuals with varying experience and skills levels

Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies, practices, and deliverables

Responsible for timely and appropriate resolution of and IT tickets, system enhancements, system patching & vulnerability management, and change requests

Work under the guidance of Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations to prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, proposals, and manage delegated responsibilities

Qualification and Experience Required to Perform the Job:
