Job Description

Our Client in Guelph, is seeking an HR Consultant for a 4-6 month contract opportunity. This role is hybrid, and will require onsite attendance 1 day/week. The HR Consultant will oversee client services, pension, benefits and compensation programs. This position will facilitate the design, development, implementation and communication of the organization’s benefit, pension and compensation programs and processes. In addition, the HR Consultant will provide guidance to managers on day to day issues that many arise as well as supervise, develop, and mentor staff.

  • Experience with pay structure through market analysis, job evaluations, benchmarking, etc. primarily focused on executive-level compensation in a unionized environment.
  • 5+ years of progressive related work experience including some leadership experience managing staff, ideally in a unionized environment.
  • CHRP and/or professional designation in compensation (CEBS, CCP or equivalent) an asset
  • Undergraduate Degree
