Our client is a leading global packaging solutions company who is looking for an HR Manager to join their team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the organization's talent, culture, and functional excellence. They will oversee the execution of HR processes, policies, and programs, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and company requirements. This role involves talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, HR system management, change management, and team leadership.
This role reports directly to the Head of HR for Canada.

Responsibilities
Talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
Employee relations management.
Training site leadership on HR systems and practices.
Execution of the performance management process.
Support Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefit Programs.
Workforce needs evaluation and data analytics.
Identify training and development opportunities.
Maintain HR system integrity and data accuracy.
Drive employee engagement and positive employee experience.
Team management and leadership.
Handling employee requests, grievances, and issues.
Management of government grants related to employees.
Maintenance And Update Of Employee Files And s.
Support in implementing progressive discipline.
Educate Employees On Company Benefits And Policies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources
7-10 years of related experience in a manufacturing organization.
CHRP and CHRL certifications are a plus.
