Hr Manager, Unionized Jobs

The successful candidate in this role will provide leadership in the HR function of the unionized manufacturing facility, in alignment with Company strategy and directives.The individual will lead a small team and focus beingLabour/Employee Relations and Performance Management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee compliance.
• Designing budget for the HR Department.
• Assist in recruitment and selection strategies.
• Act as a lead for Union negotiations.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with OHSA.
• Resolve any disputes, complaints, or grievances for all employees.
• Implementing pay structure revisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Human Resources in unionized environment.
• Attention to detail and good judgement
• University Degree or College Diploma in HR is an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing sector is an asset.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
