Hr Claims Management Advisor Regular Full Time

The primary responsibility of the Disability Claims Management Advisor is to provide active and supportive oversight and guidance to internal stakeholders on the process, documentation, and support effective and collaborative relationships related to WCB and/or Disability Claims and related accommodation requests.

Qualifications

Education and Experiences

• Labour Relations (union) experience preferred.
• Experience in UKG and Workday preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• Proven experience developing and rollout out programs across an organization.
• Proven experience creating high quality presentations using a variety of technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.).
• Knowledge of Alberta, BC and Federal Worker’s Compensation legislation, programs, and processes.
• 3-5 years of progressive Disability Claims Management experience in a large public corporate environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to deliver quality customer service to all levels within the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong time management skills to deal with multiple time sensitive issues and the ability to work in a lean, fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Ability to multi-task while effectively managing competing demands.
• Knowledge of BC and Alberta employment standards, wage, salary, benefits, and pension laws and regulations an asset.
• This supports AB, BC, and ON
• Broad general knowledge of payroll, benefits, compensation programs and documentation.
