Hospitality Services Manager - Regular Full Time (Mn Hsm 1.00) - Agecare Midnapore

The Opportunity:

The Hospitality Services Manager leads the staff team for food, housekeeping, janitorial and resident laundry services, for a supportive/assisted living community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allow residents to find joy and nourishment by working with the Dietitian and General Manager in developing nourishing and tasty menu cycles.
• Help residents enjoy life by planning, coordinating and evaluating all aspects of the communities food, housekeeping, laundry and janitorial services
• Guide, mentor and inspire a team of Hospitality staff to be their best, personally and professionally
• Maintains all records and ensures all audit compliance.
• Enable AgeCare to be best in class by investigating and resolving resident, family and employee concerns in a timely & transparent manner.
• Hold special events for our residents and family where you get to showcase your talents related to food services
• Ensure the community operates with smooth and seamless services by participating on a number of committees and management teams
• Works with no immediate supervision and accomplishes tasks in a fast paced environment

Qualifications:

• Flexibility in working evenings and weekends, and cooking, as required
• Post-secondary training in a related area, Red Seal certification required.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role related to hospitality services
• Has Strong Computer Skills
• Ability to deal with team members, clients and families with respect, tact and sensitivity
• Proven financial management, cost control, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills
• High energy, team player; promotes a positive work environment and role models AgeCare’s values
