The Opportunity:
- Marketing Resources: ensure the site is promoted in a positive way
- Finance & Accountability: adheres to the AgeCare facility operational plan and annual budget
- Employees & Partners: accountable for leadership that ensures and sustains an atmosphere of safe, quality resident and family centered care
- Food Services: monitor and evaluate quality and resident satisfaction
- Housekeeping & Laundry: monitor service and create expectations
- Contract management monitor vendors to confirm that they provide the level of service that meets AgeCare’s standards
- Risk Management: ensure the continuity of service is delivered
- Metrics: assists in the monitoring and management of the workforce metrics using the appropriate dashboards in UKG, Workday and LMS
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a health care environment and in an administrative management capacity directly supervising and/or managing employees. Senior’s retirement Facility experience will be considered an asset but is not required.
- 3+ years managing operations and facilities;
- University Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and outstanding customer service skills
- Handle sensitive situations that require empathy and tact
- An ongoing focus on continuous improvement
- Handle multiple competing priorities
- Strong business and financial management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships
- Strong ability to manage diversity of work force; resolve any conflict issues, and maintain a harmonious working environment
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work with senior management
- Demonstrates effective time management skills
- General knowledge and understanding of functional areas of responsibility
- General knowledge and understanding of building maintenance and systems
- Demonstrates innovation and problem-solving skills
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must have ability to communicate clearly and effectively and be organized in all aspects of job
- Good working knowledge of computers (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Proven ability to direct and manage staff of 20 people or more including senior supervisory level staff
