What does this role look like?
The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate and facilitate the key activities related to Admin Staffing.
The CBE understands the future of work is flexible. In this role, you are eligible to participate in a flexible work program that allows you to work remotely for up to three days a week. A minimum of two days must be in the office. At certain times, you maybe be required to work in the office more then 2 days per week based on operational requirements.
What will you do?
- Creates and deploys the candidate pool endorsement form to school principals and creates reporting summaries for Education Directors
- Works across HR teams to provide HR data and reporting to support Admin Staffing processes
- Performs other related responsibilities as assigned.
- Tracks retirements and vacant administrator positions throughout the school year and updates data on successful candidates
- Creates and updates process documentation and forms on Insite
- Coordinates the HR vetting process for all candidate pool applicants
- Gathers feedback from stakeholders and recommends process improvements
- Creates and deploys feedback surveys
- Prepares monthly Admin Staffing presentations
- Maintains the Admin Staffing posting timelines calendar
- Schedules meetings to support all committee activities as well as all activities related to the candidate pool process (e.g. written submission event, assessment event, calibration meetings, interviews)
- Coordinate the validation of masters degree and LQS certificates
- Creates, deploys the leadership intent form to all school administrators and members of candidate pools and analyzes data and provides reporting to Education Directors
- Communicates with candidate pool applicants and members and manages inquiries regarding the process
What qualifications are we looking for?
Education and Experience
- An equivalent combination of directly related education and directly related experience may be considered.
- Institutional experience, especially in a K-12 school environment, is an asset.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Personal suitability.
- Demonstrated project management skills combined with a high attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively in a team orientated work setting of multiple and tight timelines.
- Comfort in working across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms and MS Teams to accomplish work responsibilities.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to create positive relationships, establish rapport and influence various interest groups and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
