Staffing Advisor Jobs

Collaborates with the Workforce Management Analyst to review data trends and staffing levels.

Attends next day meetings with Site management and CSA Team Lead to ensure staffing needs are being addressed.

Attends Site weekly and monthly workforce management production meetings.

Attends local labour management meetings as required.

Maintain a working knowledge of multiple collective agreements.

Schedules staff to clinics, committee meetings, training, and education.

Demonstrated project management skills combined with a high attention to detail

An equivalent combination of directly related education and directly related experience may be considered.

Creates and deploys the candidate pool endorsement form to school principals and creates reporting summaries for Education Directors

Communicates with candidate pool applicants and members and manages inquiries regarding the process

Performs other related responsibilities as assigned.

Institutional experience, especially in a K-12 school environment, is an asset.

Strong business skills and risk management

Strong technical skills and well-rounded knowledge of the construction industry and engineering principles

Coordinate and manage activities relating to various projects

Minimum 8 years' hands-on experience

Registered member of the NS Association of Architects (NSAA) or meet the requirements to become a member

Experience and efficiency in working with client stakeholders and negotiating contracts

Demonstrated supervisory and management experience required.

Project Management experience an asset.

Demonstrated experience with application of Change Management frameworks an asset.

Relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

(e.g. Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resource Management, etc.).

Minimum two years’ experience working with a Staff Scheduling System required.

2+ years’ experience in recruitment, staffing or advisory related role (with preferred knowledge of Technology recruitment)

Previous client service experience, ideally working with senior managers in a corporate setting

Assist hiring managers with their inquiries and the CWM Staff Augmentation process, including:

Triage of the resource requirements to ensure quality candidates

Conduct supplier calls with hiring managers

Finalizing staffing decision with supplier and hiring manager

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Post-secondary degree with accounting or finance focus is preferred; acceptable equivalent of training and relate experience will also be considered

Monitor and manage accounts, payment terms, overdue accounts, and payment plans

3+ years' experience in a similar, busy AR-focused and/or customer/client-focused role

Superior communication skills with proven ability to provide outstanding customer service

Accurate and efficient data entry and keyboarding

Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to management and employees

Customer service and/or sales experience

Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office

Navigate multiple operating systems, including our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), our staffing app – JobStack, our text alert system and more.

Take inbound orders from new and existing customers and enter them into our system.

Process payroll for our temporary workers in a timely manner according to standardized payroll processes.

Manage market/industry mapping for your assigned Prospect portfolio

2+ years of experience in sales and business development

Growing and developing a client database through building client relationships, cold calling and client/prospect visits in a specific local territory

Follow-up with clients & prospects to confirm that staffing plans and candidate needs are met

Prior working knowledge of union contracts and direct experience working in multi-union environment is an asset.

One year of experience in hospital staffing and scheduling experience required.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Must possess strong listening skills along with the ability to express yourself clearly to others.

In collaboration with the department leader, arrange unit orientation as required.

Prepare computerized time entries for team members for processing by Payroll. Download and review data to ensure accurate reporting and compensation

Demonstrated knowledge of computer keyboard skills.

Experience in a similar or directly related position, preferably in a Nursing related area.

General knowledge of office procedures.

Experience in computerized scheduling preferred (ESP).

Previous experience in customer related service.
