- General experience with systems implementation, training, troubleshooting and evaluation.
- Experience with interpretation and application of collective agreements required.
- Demonstrated experience with writing, implementing standard work procedures.
- Minimum two years’ experience working with a Staff Scheduling System required.
- Previous experience in staffing processes preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Project Management experience an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with application of Change Management frameworks an asset.
- Demonstrated supervisory and management experience required.
- Relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- (e.g. Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resource Management, etc.).
- Advanced level of knowledge and proficiency with computer systems relating to the use of common software applications including spreadsheet, database and email applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma) an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential personnel information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
- Team-player with positive attitude.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Aptitude for recognizing, investigating and analyzing problems and developing innovative solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills, problem-solving abilities, and the initiative to follow through on matters independently.
- Ability to multitask.
- Mature, professional manner.
- Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to assume accountability and leadership.
- Demonstrated analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment adhering to strict deadlines.
- Must be able to work effectively under stress and meet deadlines.
