Role: Regional Sales Manager - Central US/CAN


Location: Remote – Preference is for Ontario.

Your Impact


The Regional Sales Manager will meet or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory through direct selling efforts, training, and management. Our success is rooted in a tradition of “being best prepared” to address concerns around high-voltage asset reliability in industries such as Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Pulp& Paper, Mining, and others. Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:


  • Maintain company databases as required (opportunity funnel, contact manager, outage schedule, etc.)
  • Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in geographic area of assigned responsibility & monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends & competitive product offerings, strategies and activity.
  • Plan and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and sales & market-share objectives.
  • Develop a successful representative network in assigned geographic area as needed through representative selection, training, and supervision
  • Maintain company product training certifications as defined by Company
  • Coordinate and attend key industry trade shows, seminars & conferences representing company products.


Skills & Experience


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:


  • BSEE (Electrical Engineering) or BSME (Mechanical Engineering) or similar is preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Training & Experience in safety requirements for working with high voltage apparatus
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 60%) and have a valid passport and driver's license.
  • Sales experience working with or managing manufacturer’s representative firms.
  • Availability to participate in training classes in Canada for periods of up to 30 consecutive days, 2 to 3 times in first year of employment
  • Successful outside sales experience in high voltage equipment, electric utility & generation industry, and/or design & maintenance of generator / motor windings.
  • Demonstrated use of common business software programs such as MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point

National: The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $122,500- $227,500


Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
