Job Description
Stellar Personnel, Canadas largest culinary and hospitality staffing agency, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator who will be responsible for managing staff relations, and existing client relations. The role includes conducting staff orientations, scheduling staff for shifts, corresponding with staff via phone and email, updating staff schedules and profiles, noting staff availability, and marking staff as restricted or preferred based on the previous weeks staffing.


It is a critical role responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships with both staff and clients. The Staffing Coordinator must be highly organized and detail-oriented to update staff schedules and profiles, note staff availability, and mark staff as restricted or preferred based on the previous weeks staffing. Success in this role requires a customer-centric mindset and the ability to balance the needs of the business with the needs of the staff to ensure a seamless and efficient staffing process.


Responsibilities:


  • Resolve client and staff issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform audits of Client Relations to ensure appropriate staffing support for existing clients.
  • Proactively identify business growth opportunities by suggesting additional staff or new staff types.
  • Ensure accurate and timely staff bookings for clients.
  • Address and resolve client complaints, offering effective solutions.
  • Assist clients facing challenges or issues in their staffing requirements.
  • Manage staff check-in/out procedures for major events.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for staff and coordinate onboarding activities with the HR department.
  • Provide recommendations to the HR department regarding recruitment for positions, locations, and future needs.
  • Develop staff specifications for various shifts and take note of work environment details.
  • Open new accounts and maintain accurate account details.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a temp staffing agency environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment
Requirements:


  • Location: 640 Bloor St W 2nd Floor, Toronto, ON M6G 1K9
  • Schedule: Thursday – Monday (09:00 AM – 05:00 PM) (On - Site)
  • Experience Level: 0-2 years of experience in customer service, administration, client relations, or a similar field.
  • Salary: $41,600 plus benefits (Permanent, Full - Time)
