Summary of the Role:
Georgia Hardy Tours is a boutique travel company offering custom travel services to schools, affinity groups, and families. We are looking for experienced Operations specialists with industry experience to join our fast growing, dynamic, and diverse team. You will work as an integral Operations team member to plan, co-ordinate and execute multi-destination itineraries for groups ranging in size from 10-350+ people. This role will also respond internally to sales team requests for proposals and quotes, and you will need to be flexible and implement change orders under time-sensitive deadlines. You will need to be precise and well organized with the ability to manage multiple files at the same time while ensuring accuracy with supplier bookings.
 
Responsibilities shall include:
Plan and deliver travel itineraries for group and leisure clients including managing bookings, deposit schedule, and cancellations.
Plan and execute assigned group tour programmes
Prepare pre-departure material for groups and FIT in an accurate and time sensitive manner
Facilitate group airport departures (occasional, in person) and provide ancillary support as required
Ensure on-going accuracy of assigned trip files
Be professional and courteous with all clients at all times; respond promptly to concerns
and questions both externally and internally
Act as lead administrator of Peak 15 Saas software within the organization
Skills and Qualities:
3 years’ Operations experience in B2B, B2C, MICE travel industry
Strong interpersonal skills: enthusiastic and professional attitude
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Languages: knowledge of French, Italian and/or Spanish an asset, but not required 
Microsoft 365 platform (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive)
Peak 15 Saas software (preferred and will be considered a major asset)
Umapped itinerary experience platform (preferred but not essential) or similar app
Knowledge of a GDS System (preferred but not essential)
Destination expertise: knowledge of Europe, Caribbean, and/or Central America an asset
Qualifications: 
TICO Travel agent certificate (or attain within three months employment)
Post-secondary education
Diploma in Travel & Tourism (preferred) or similar
