One of our automotive manufacturing clients in Simcoe, ON is looking for a Group Leader Machine Maintenance Stamping .

Shift - Days

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support for the Machine Maintenance team.
• Plan, organize, supervise and control planned, shift operations,equipment repairs and improvements.
• Identify safety, quality and productivity deficiencies and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain appropriate records regarding equipment and servicing.
• Participate in projects and initiatives as required.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Partner with other departments to execute the preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure safe working procedures and good housekeeping practices.

Key Skills And Characteristics

• Computer efficiency
• Positive attitude, motivation skills
• Licensed/ticketed trade experience is an asset
• Manufacturing experience, automotive is an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to problem solve prioritize, make decisions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects through to completion
• Previous supervisory experience
