Facilities Coordinator (Corporate Custodian/Housekeeper)--Must Reside in or near Calgary, Canada/Have Right to Work in Canada
Looking for a change to an interesting, stable, Monday to Friday full time position with benefits where you would be leading the cleaning and coordinating in a newly renovated four story office and nearby aviation office space owned by a multi-generation family business? Are you a self-motivated, fit and top notch corporate office cleaner/custodian? Do you enjoy light maintenance involving cleaning and organizing as well as working in a small team environment full time weekdays? This position, based from our newly renovated corporate office next to YYC (just southwest of Calgary's International Airport), will provide some interesting variety.
Tricycle Lane Ranches Ltd (TLR) has a tremendous opportunity for a full-time permanent Facilities Coordinator. TLR is the 25-year-old Property Management and Land Acquisition business for its sister company BURNCO Rock Products Ltd (BURNCO), a 110+ year-old, international construction materials business. If you seek a stable, full time job in newly renovated environments, with the best equipment and a desire to keep your workspaces immaculate, you may have found the perfect role! Example Job Task List (for Office aspects)
- Reporting and responding to any building issues promptly
- Maintaining inventory/supply levels/restocking supplies as needed including stationery
- Coffee and water set up for meetings, including clean-up
- Daily housekeeping tasks as required
- Catering assistance for meals including full kitchen clean-up
- Leading and working with others in a team environment
- Occasional deep cleaning of rotational tasks
- Light duty common area cleaning
- Daily disinfecting of all high traffic surfaces and touch points
What We Would Like From You
Experience
- Experience in cleaning and organizing residential and commercial locations
- Working in a team environment with some leading of others
- Demonstrated ability to productively work with little supervision
- Comfortable and confident working within a professional environment alone and with small teams and tight timelines
- Reliable, trustworthy, and physically able to perform the role
- Good problem solving and written/verbal communication skills in English
- Professional, positive attitude
- Motivated, confidential person, able to work efficiently and effectively - both independently and in a team environment
- Residential/Commercial property cleaning: 2 - 3 years (preferred)
- Possess or be prepared to complete Fall Protection certification (at employer's expense)
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License--necessary to travel with our fleet vehicles between our Calgary area properties
- Possess or be prepared to complete First Aid certification (at employer's expense)
- Previous experience working alone and in a team will also be an attribute
- Must reside in or near Calgary, Canada/Permitted to Work in Canada
