Leader Name: Director, Facilities


As ATB's next Senior Manager, Facilities Operations with People Places & Spaces (PP&S), you will report to the Director, Facilities and lead the Facilities Operations team. You'll manage a team of 3 Operations Analysts and 1 Facilities Operations Student in both Calgary and Edmonton and will be accountable for the Management of the Operations service delivery model, including Facilities Management (FM) Requests and financial administration. Utilizing systems and tools to manage requests, meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide data analysis to continually elevate the team member and client experience through process improvements and communications.


This is a pivotal role in executing on the PP&S Strategic Blueprint objectives. We are excited to further identify and develop targets for team KPIs & SLAs, integrating this data in all aspects of our business to drive future decisions.


PP&S is ATB's real estate and facilities business unit and leads: real estate strategy, workplace optimization & experience, spatial design, construction, project management, leasing & subleasing management, facilities management & maintenance, asset management, facility operations, occupational health & safety, and physical security. PP&S oversees ATB's 1.5 million square feet of space and the team is deeply connected to transforming banking through ATB's client facing locations, and leading the way with corporate workplace transformation, both of which bring ATB's mandate to life and make it possible for Albertans.


Senior Manager, Facilities Operations Accountabilities


  • Oversight of Operations Processes, ensuring coordination and integration across teams
  • Operations Process Gap Analysis & Improvement Planning to elevate the team member and client experience, integrating processes across teams to ensure a consistent, streamlined service delivery
  • Oversight of Financial Processes, Transactions, Documentation & Controls to achieve business objectives
  • Communications Management & Oversight (Must Answer Line, Queues & Inboxes)
  • Meaningfully shapes client and team member experience through strategic development of the Operations Support Model, Services & Communications
  • Oversight of Knowledge Base, invoicing & team processes
  • Continuous Improvement Program Management
  • Leads and coaches the Facilities Operations team, prioritzing objectives and activities to achieve facility, team culture and strategic blueprint goals
  • Collaborates on strategic planning to achieve business goals
  • Oversight and development of priorities for the AssetPlanner Service Request Module and queues, leveraging Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicator targets and data to shape the team member and client experience

Requirements


As the ideal candidate you possess:


  • Process development and implementation experience
  • Technical skills, including G-Suite, and experience learning and adapting to new technologies and software
  • Facilities management software experience, preferably AssetPlanner
  • Experience with a distributed retail network
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience, preferably with a team of direct reports
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • 5+ years of operations & financial processing/controls experience, preferably in a facilities related business
  • Post-secondary degree in business operations, business administration, business management or other relevant fields
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory requirements and industry information affecting ATB's environment
