This critical new role will work for ATCO Frontec to grow our industrial maintenance business. As a provider of facilities maintenance and site support services to remote sites across Canada, we offer unique solutions to our clients to ensure their site operations are taken care of and they can focus on their core business.


ATCO Frontec is seeking a Sales Manager, Facilities Operations & Maintenance to join our team. The Sales Manager, Facilities Operations & Maintenance is responsible for building relationships and securing new business with clients who own remote and semi-remote industrial sites which have a need for dedicated on-site maintenance services. By capturing, pursuing and closing key account sales opportunities, this position will make a significant impact to ATCO Frontec’s revenues and offer strategic advantage in the marketplace


The Sales Manager will grow current client relations and create new partnerships with clients across Western Canada and work with our workforce housing group to maximize synergies for our remote client base.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain strong trusted relationships with a portfolio of major clients in industries that include private infrastructure development; oil & gas and mining resource extraction; and green energy developments
  • Educate internally on market trends and competitor data to support the development of both annual Business Plan and ongoing plans to foster sustainable long-term growth
  • Improve the company’s position as the leading supplier by recommending design improvements, new products & markets and ensuring that a marketing strategy is developed and maintained
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline of new business opportunities in line with ATCO’s business growth strategy and budgets
  • Lead all the sales activities from the point of identifying a sales lead to the point of signing a contract, including but not limited to effective client liaison, preparation and presentation of proposals, negotiations, internal approvals


Qualifications:


  • The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proven success in winning new business with 5 or more years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in the business of operational site services would be an asset
  • Demonstrated expertise in all phases of proposal development
  • Strong established network of relationships in target industries
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate with a minimal amount of supervision
  • The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial driven and demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is considered an asset


The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the following characteristics:


  • Solid interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • Ability to forecast short to long-term market potential
  • Tenacity with the ability to practice tact and diplomacy with both internal and external interested parties
  • Self-starter with strong sales skills – ability to close deals and deliver against sales targets.
  • High commercial acumen, critical thinking, sound judgment, tact, diplomacy and ability to resolve issues
  • Outstanding needs analysis and concept development skills
