NAIT is currently looking for an Associate Vice President of Facilities Management and Development to join their team. Reporting to the Vice President, Administration and CFO, the Associate Vice President, Facilities Management and Development is responsible for the management of major capital construction projects and the ongoing operations and maintenance of large complex facilities, in support of NAIT's teaching, applied research, services to industry and administration functions. This individual plays a key role in ensuring that NAIT's physical space aligns with the priorities of the rapidly growing post-secondary institution. They are responsible for the acquisition, disposition, development, redevelopment, upgrades, and retrofits of new and existing buildings and lands.
The successful candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), and will have several years of progressive engineering, project management and facilities maintenance experience. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record in the successful delivery of capital projects, along with strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative environment and encourage new and innovative ideas.
