Avp, Communications And Integrated Planning

The Sportchek & Atmosphere Operations team is comprised of field and central office operations, and focused on execution, innovation, and continuous improvement in delivering on our financial, operational, and customer focused objectives. Store and field teams operate our more than 200 Sportchek and Atmosphere stand alone and combination stores, while our central office team provides critical support, developing training and communication, and collaborating with cross functional partners in merchandising, digital, marketing, finance, HR, and supply chain.

Reporting to the VP, Operations, the AVP, Operations Integration is responsible for identifying key business priorities and translating into integrated operating plans, supporting strategic objectives, and delivering results.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with labour planning, merch, merch planning and marketing for both seasonal planning execution, store comms and work planning integrated into labour deployments plans.
• Lead/facilitate key strategic projects and work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Participate in key leadership strategy/planning/management sessions to support integration of priorities and implementation.
• Play a key role in developing approach, gaining alignment, and driving the strategic planning process across cross functional teams.
• Oversee store communications including the launch of our new platform.
• Develop agenda and content for key Operations meeting.

What You’ve Done

• Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong and broad knowledge of the retail market, with an ability to identify variations that exist from store to store, and market to market
• Able to work independently, highly organized and resilient
• Worked with or led cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of business process analysis and design
• Is adaptable and can apply lessons learned in one situation to another situation
• Demonstrated a desire to help and serve internal/external customers to meet their needs
• Highly collaborative, curious and tenacious
• Developed strong business acumen and comfortable with business insights and analytics
• 5+ years of progressive experience, including experience having led or managed a successful cross-functional project
