About you:

You are a seasoned fintech business leader at a Sr Manager or Director level who leverages their experience and knowledge when managing the operational & implementation needs of an expanding, and large-scale program. You have a strong understanding of payment processes and fintech operations and have worked and thrived in entrepreneurial environments.

You have exceptional account management; problem-solving and program delivery skills and your desire is to provide world class customer interactions to those you partner with. You have years of experience in a fintech operational, retail facing or business development role with card issuing industry knowledge and you’re looking for your next role where you can elevate the impact of a partnership with a large scale program.

About you / qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in an operational or account management role
• The ability to slice through ambiguity and drive clarity where confusion exists; leveraging technical expertise with strong business acumen
• Experience and strong knowledge of the Card Issuing industry in Canada
• Strong sales financial insight with experience managing P&L
• At least 7 years of fintech environment in a business development or program manager role
• Startup or similar high-growth experience; can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
• Strong business development and communication sills
• Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcome

About the day-to-day:

• Define and establish methods for identifying prospective business lines within our client portfolio
• Manage peers and colleagues across the business to achieve business outcomes
• Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (ability to collaborate with and influence a wide variety of stakeholders)
• Manage new and existing vendor relationships and stakeholders (internal and external)
• Understand and advocate for the successful maturity of an existing business product
• Effective management of all operational items associated with the product lifecycle, managing costs and financial metrics
• Build community networks to shape interest and sales for our client
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
• Partner with other divisions in the Cards & Payments space, leveraging roadmaps within the agile environment
• Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization, identify inefficient processes or waste and redirect resources as necessary
