Maintenance Facilities Lead Jobs

Maintenance Consumables – Ensures consumables such as filters, lubricants, & coolants are available and fully comply with Quality system requirements

Post-secondary education or equivalent – mechanical or electrical field of study

Experience in either facility or equipment maintenance preferred

Strong organization skills and attention to detailed documentation

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Develop & Record a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plan for every asset, including scheduling 3rd party contractors to perform scheduled PM work

Experience in the business of operational site services would be an asset

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate with a minimal amount of supervision

The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial driven and demonstrate strong communication skills

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

Self-starter with strong sales skills – ability to close deals and deliver against sales targets.

Outstanding needs analysis and concept development skills

Educational background in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge of FIIX, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Manages asset tagged records and refines preventive and predictive maintenance via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Assigns work orders, aiding management in job coordination, and monitoring compliance to priorities.

Oversees activities of contracted maintenance partners, prioritizing repairs and evaluating cost-benefit for recommendations.

3+ years experience in Maintenance Planning.

Provide local market feedback to management to minimize competitive threat, retain customers, and increase revenue

Proactively engage existing customers to increase their utilization of ATCO Facility Solutions’ core service offerings of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance

Must have experience and familiarity in estimating plumbing, HVAC AND/OR electrician maintenance services either in a sales and/or trades specific capacity.

5 years of proven ability in a similar/related role, including sales and/or trades experience

Skills to learn and work alongside a like-minded team

Excellent analytical and research skills, and the initiative to make cold calls to prospective new clients

Two (2) years leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role of health care facilities or health care project management

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.

Five (5) years of recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization

Assist to strategic planning for moves, adds, and changes (MAC) in coordination with space planning/occupancy

Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.

2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, & MHE maintenance

1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles

Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Attending regular meetings with Facilities Manager where Facilities Management is a required participant

All other duties as reasonably directed by management

Provide competent direction and management of all third party vendor personnel working in the building in a Facilities capacity

Assist the Facilities Manager in Organizing/streamlining Facilities, HSE and Security activities to the overall operational and cost benefit of the company

Leaf the delivery and execution of any Facilities-assigned work orders as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring that all Facility, HSE and Security Processes and Procedures are communicated, understood and adhered to

· Attending regular meetings with Facilities Manager where Facilities Management is a required participant

· All other duties as reasonably directed by management

· Leaf the delivery and execution of any Facilities-assigned work orders as assigned by the Facilities Manager

· Along with wider Facilities department, On-call 24/7 for all after-hours emergencies (black-outs, shutdowns, etc.)

Facilities Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities:

·Assisting the Facilities Manager in various construction projects and maintenance of infrastructure throughout the sanctuary.

·Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our facility and related topics

·Significant work experience in outdoor maintenance and operating various landscaping tools

·Passion for learning and willingness to continue to acquire relevant knowledge

·Previous kennel or animal care experience will be considered an asset

Supervises, instructs and trains staff to achieve standards of maintenance.

Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs.

Maintain the equipment and facility through preventive/predictive maintenance program.

Consults the work orders and personal log book for jobs to be done.

Provide guidance in troubleshooting and repair using the most expedient and thorough methods.

Keep equipment and facility in working condition for maximum uptime.
