Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking Account Managers to join our ATCO Facility Solutions team to grow our retail facility maintenance business in Alberta. Target clients are both commercial and industrial.


The Account Managers are responsible for increasing the visibility of ATCO Facility Solutions by managing and growing existing accounts and bringing in new business within their assigned geography.


Account Managers respond to customer requests for maintenance services, ensure new customers are properly incorporated into our sales and invoicing system, invoice clients, and ensure customer satisfaction upon completion of work.


Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and business forecast activities
  • Proactively engage existing customers to increase their utilization of ATCO Facility Solutions’ core service offerings of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance
  • Research and assist in sales calls to potential clients and prepares required documents
  • Provide local market feedback to management to minimize competitive threat, retain customers, and increase revenue
  • Build positive relationships with prospective customers and actively seek new business opportunities for the ATCO Facility Solutions business line
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 5 years of proven ability in a similar/related role, including sales and/or trades experience
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, and the initiative to make cold calls to prospective new clients
  • Must have experience and familiarity in estimating plumbing, HVAC AND/OR electrician maintenance services either in a sales and/or trades specific capacity.
  • Great verbal and written communications skills
  • Post-secondary degree, preferably in business or a related field is an asset
  • Proven interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft word, excel, outlook
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a project-based environment
  • Ability to forecast short to long-term market potential
  • Customer service skills
  • Skills to learn and work alongside a like-minded team
