About This Team
Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for the overall Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control of our North America Distribution Centers. At lululemon, a Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role by maintaining the physical integrity of the property including maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment for all guests and staff.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Under the leadership of the Facilities Supervisor and Facilities Manager, a Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the entire retail distribution facility and the surrounding property. This includes the MHE, physical grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency care of the space. They will work with the Facilities Supervisor on all scheduled preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance. In addition to supporting the facility, they will also engage in additional training, team building and personal development.

• Daily inspection of building perimeter, including general repairs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.
• Diagnose, using test equipment, electrical and electronic control systems and other related equipment, devices, or components.
• Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.
• Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.
• Inform appropriate DC partners on important communication.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of schematics, plans and blueprints.
• Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, & MHE maintenance
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills
• Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.

APTITUDES

• Más de un año de conocimiento de principios eléctricos y electrónicos
• Comprensión básica de esquemas, planos y cianotipos.
• Capacidad para mantener y solucionar problemas de lógica básica de relés, diagramas de escalera, componentes de control: fotocélulas, arrancadores de motores, relés, interruptores de límite, sensores de proximidad, temporizadores, solenoides, servoaccionamientos, inversores de frecuencia, accionamientos lineales, tacómetros y codificadores.
• Dominio de Microsoft Outlook y conocimientos básicos de informática.
• Conocimiento de los procedimientos de bloqueo y etiquetado.
• Capacidad de mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro.
• Más de dos o tres años de experiencia práctica en mantenimiento de instalaciones, transportador, automatización y mantenimiento de equipo de manejo de materiales
