Purpose

• Deliver successful projects in terms of scope, budget, schedule and customer satisfaction.
• ***This position is to be based in Sudbury, Ontario. Alternate home location or relocation will be evaluated for the right candidate.***

Responsibilities

• Identifies and provides any specialized knowledge and training for the project team.
• Recommends and selects the project team.
• Assures that customer is satisfied with the contracted deliverables.
• Evaluates team member performance.
• Execution of project scope to a defined budget and schedule, manages and documents change orders seeking customer approval prior to changes.
• Mentors Project Engineers.
• Assures all team members have the appropriate tools and equipment.
• Manages mobilization to plan.
• Is accountable for office and site safety for the project team.

What You Will Bring

• Mining experience is a plus
• Experience Managing large Portfolio’s with clients and consult for future sales development
• Proven experience in Waterfall and Agile project management
• Relevant years of experience deploying complex Digital solution in an industrial environment.
• Proven performance leading technical work as a Project Engineer or Manager.
• Motivational leadership style and strong communication skills with ability to develop high performance culture.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in all commercial contracting models/risk profiles (Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc.)

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

• A degree in either engineering, mining, digital technology, or data science.
• Portuguese speaking is a plus

Required

• Has an excellent overall understanding of the impact of Industry 4.0 technology across the customer's needs
• Demonstrated capabilities to build relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• Preference would be made to English and Portuguese speaking applicants
• Sudbury resident is a plus
• Experience working in the Mining Industry would be a huge asset.
• Ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks effectively through positive decision making. Capable of working with a diverse global project team working in an office and remotely.
