Operations Manager – Reuse Operations

Reporting to the Director, Warehouse and Logistics, the Operations Manager – Reuse Operations will hold responsibility for managing our Reuse program. The program entails end-to-end operations management: planning, receiving, triaging, refurbishment, repairing and reuse of customer’s existing assets. This may include direct supervision of staff members within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Demand planning and prioritization within Reuse line of business to manage overall capacity
• Data analytics to watch efficiency and effectiveness of Reuse operations Supervising staff and productivity targets
• Maintain and update ISO standard operating procedures ensuring all processes are documented and auditable
• Manage operations to process daily/monthly volumes and hit SLA (Service Level Agreement) and targets
• Responsible for Reuse KPI’s to ensure we are delivering to customer expectations and meeting established targets monthly Schedule and conduct inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and training requirements
• Conduct weekly meetings to review performance, supply feedback and outline current/future objectives
• Ensuring service requirements and agreements are met for individual customer needs Continuous process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and decrease cost
• Manage and improve operational processes, production prioritization and reporting to manage the flow of product

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passion for exceeding customer expectations
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Computer experience with all Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Knowledge of JDE warehouse management system considered an asset
• 5 years’ experience with operations management and analytics
• Post-secondary or university degree
• Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and performance objectives
