Job Description

Position Title: Operations Manager

Position Type: Internal/External

Location: Hiawatha, ON

Duration: Full-Time Permanent

Tentative Interview Date: September 18-22, 2023

Salary Range: $93,130-$103,430

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Operations (DOO), the Operations Manager (OM) will provide the leadership and oversight needed to maximize the administration, coordination and future direction of operations, including oversight of 5-7 direct reports. The OM will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations, programs and staff related to these departments including all related facilities and equipment. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the incumbent will be committed to providing a high level of public service, will continually strive for new and more effective approaches to fulfilling the department’s mandate and objectives, and will make certain that HFN operations is optimally positioned for sustainable quality of life for its citizens while delivering services in a highly efficient, innovative and cost effective manner. The OM will be the delegated back up to the DOO. The OM is responsible for any other duties that may be assigned by the DOO. The OM must follow the strategic plans of the organization, adhering to the HFN vision and values.
