What You’ll Do:
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead and empower the Ivey Academy team of Program Managers, Client Relations Officers, and Program Assistants by providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture that delivers exceptional participant experiences.
- Conduct formal and informal performance reviews to recognize achievements and identify areas for development, ensuring continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive the recruitment process, identifying top talent, and onboarding new hires to maintain a high-performing team.
- Effectively allocate resources, schedule program assignments, and manage vacation calendars to optimize team productivity.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Open Enrollment and Custom Leadership Development programs and workshops, ensuring successful planning and execution, and driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide ongoing support, guidance and feedback to Program Managers, Client Relations Officers, and Program Assistant on a regular basis.
Program Management and Execution
- Plan and execute engaging team-building events to foster team camaraderie and collaboration within the Academy, as assigned by the Ivey Academy Management team.
- Develop and refine program assignments for Program Managers and Client Relations Officers, ensuring up-to-date and client-aligned program listings.
- Strategically manage the successful execution of programs for 2-3 core clients annually, ensuring exceptional program delivery, client satisfaction, and ongoing relationship development.
- Participate in post-program facility and Academy debrief meetings, gathering feedback to enhance program outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement new processes, procedures, and clear guidelines to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency, to drive exceptional.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement across operations, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving continuous improvement, leveraging technology to drive efficiencies where appropriate.
- Lead special projects as required to drive operational excellence and enhance overall team performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify relevant metrics, establish reporting mechanisms, and use data-driven approaches to optimize resource allocation and track program performance.
- Support and train team members in the implementation of new processes and encourage creative thinking to identify best practices.
- Actively contribute to the optimization of workflows, promoting streamlined operations and improved performance.
Financial Management
- Prepare a summary of incidentals for custom clients, capturing additional expenses beyond the program fee.
- Manage inventory control and ordering processes, working closely with the Administrative Assistant to maintain adequate supplies and resources.
- Update log-sheet for program and admin expenses, including vendor expenses, to maintain an accurate record of all financial transactions.
- Approve chargeback forms and review expense reports, ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Director, Ivey Academy Operations and the finance team to monitor financial performance per program, providing accurate reporting and supporting financial decision-making.
What You Have:
Education & Experience
- Demonstrated leadership or mentor experience required.
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Business) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a client–facing role.
- Proven experience in program operations/project management, preferably in a corporate learning or executive education setting, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Technologically savvy, with proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and service excellence.
- Ability to effectively manage resources, allocate tasks, and meet program deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of program management principles and best practices.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and precision in program execution and financial management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing budgets and resources, and proficiency in data-driven strategic decisions.
- Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities through effective project management.
- Expertise in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing new procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Location:
London, Ontario
Position Type:
Full-time (35/hours a week) 3-year renewable contract.
Hiring Range
Based on the salary band for this role, candidates can expect to be offered a starting salary in the range of $72, 600-$90, 800. When determining salary, Ivey Business School considers the external market, candidate qualifications, as well as internal equity. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range through annual increases.
