5+ years of construction Project Management/Coordinator experience

Provides project status reports to operations management.

Work with the operations teams and General Manager to ensure proper scheduling

Review data to determine material and labour requirements and prepare itemized lists for proposed and/or approved projects.

Consults with clients, vendors, subcontractors or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates, organize and manage contracts and resolve issues.

Works with general superintendent to insure internal forces are scheduled and managed effectively.

Strong underground mine operation experience, which includes underground construction and project execution experience.

Experience with Deswik CAD, Deswik Ops, and, Deswik Shed is preferred.

Expert level organizational skills and the ability to multi-task coupled with the ability to effectively prioritize and solve problems.

High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Conduct preliminary surveys and studies of ore deposits to assess the economic and environmental feasibility of potential mining operations.

Ensure staffing levels are met by communicating with appropriate skill management.

Knowledge in Agile methodology (PSPO, Management 3.0, Scrum, Agile at scale).

Cost and schedule management experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead group discussions, strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.

Coordinate with technical leads and program managers the conversion of system level requirements into unit level requirements.

Knowledge and experience with Excel spreadsheets, JIRA, MS Access, or other such tools/software languages.

Experience using project management software

Manage the testing and implementation of e-commerce website enhancements

Post-Secondary degree or diploma and/or and at least two years of related experience; retail or e-commerce experience is preferred

Experience extracting and analyzing various datasets from a variety of sources

Intermediate knowledge of SQL; ability to write, execute and modify advanced queries

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Access

Proven experience in Waterfall and Agile project management

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

Execution of project scope to a defined budget and schedule, manages and documents change orders seeking customer approval prior to changes.

Identifies and provides any specialized knowledge and training for the project team.

Relevant years of experience deploying complex Digital solution in an industrial environment.

Proven performance leading technical work as a Project Engineer or Manager.

2-3 years of relevant contract/project management experience

Strong time management skills essential

Supports driver management & collective agreement negotiations

Timely and accurate customer account management following standard operating procedures

Contract Management of $20m contracts (1-2 Concurrently)

Concrete knowledge and/or experience is preferred
