  • Effectively and accurately manage general inquiries, media monitoring, media requests, and the distribution of press releases;
  • See to the upkeep and protection of the Company's brand image in all communication elements, including the quality of communication tools;
  • Partake in various Corporate Communications-led initiatives, events, and any other related tasks.
  • Work within a team and apply critical thinking to communicate information effectively;
  • Support Corporate Communications and other corporate teams to ensure consistency and excellence in the execution of communication initiatives;
  • Craft a variety of materials, including speeches, reports, holding statements, key messages, and presentations in English and French;

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met;
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field;
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and to work under pressure;
  • Team spirit.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage priorities;
  • Excellent oral and written skills in French and English, including grammar;
  • Past experience in external communications is considered an asset;
  • Experience in PowerPoint is considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy and the ability to maintain complete discretion;
  • Superior attention to detail and excellence in ensuring continuity of content and messaging;

In the course of his/her duties, the incumbent will be called upon to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada and North America.

We support employment equity. Saputo strives to embed diversity and inclusion in its operations and invites candidates from all horizons to join its family.

Our story began in Canada in 1954, when the Saputo family's hard work and dedication created a thriving dairy business. More than 65 years later, our roots in this country remain strong with our Corporate Headquarters in Montréal. Today, we are a leading cheese manufacturer and fluid milk and cream processor in Canada with well-loved brands, such as Saputo, Alexis de Portneuf, Armstrong, Baxter, Dairyland, Joyya, Milk2Go, Milk2Go Sport, Neilson, Nutrilait, Scotsburn* and Woolwich Goat Dairy. Thanks to our national footprint, we're proud to bring our best to our customers and consumers, and have plenty of opportunities for our employees to grow in their own way. And we do it while also striving to build a healthier future for our people and the communities where we operate, guided by our values and the Saputo Promise.
