Our client is growing quickly and looking for an ambitious individual to help grow their new home EV accessory line.

About the job

As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our hardware product and app integration. You will work closely with the Product Manager to gather insights from customers and the market, document these learnings, and share them with cross-functional partners to inform the ongoing development and execution of our product strategy. Additionally, you will work with vendor partners to ensure ongoing success in the Ontario market and support ongoing operations, including installation of the hardware product. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key team member of a high-growth company focused on becoming a leader in electric vehicle charging.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform ongoing product strategy and decision-making.
• Think on your feet and voice your opinions on product strategy and execution.
• Utilize tools such as Notion, Salesforce, Wordpress, and Monday.com to support ongoing product management and execution.
• Be an active participant in the team, providing suggestions and feedback.
• Support hardware-related aspects of the product, including inventory management, logistics, suppliers, and other related tasks.
• Refine customer personas, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
• Monitor and analyze product performance and customer feedback to inform ongoing product development.
• Document customer learnings and share with cross-functional partners to inform ongoing product development and marketing strategies.
• Understand the latest industry & technology trends.
• Have meetings with customers and vendors to get insights, solve issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work with vendor partners to ensure ongoing success in the Ontario market and support ongoing operations, including installation of the hardware product.
• Support the product team in the ongoing development of product roadmaps, requirements, and user stories.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in product management or related field, with experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.

• Familiarity with the EV industry is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello is a plus.

• Knowledge of Notion, Salesforce, Wordpress, and Monday.com is a plus.

• The ideal candidate will have an affinity with the industry, feel comfortable learning from customers, and be flexible doing multiple activities.
