Position Overview


The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Framatome, located in Kincardine Ontario. SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement project and includes the removal of the steam generators at Unit 6, 3, and 4 and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064. In addition to the existing contracts for Unit 3 and Unit 4, SGRT has signed a long-term Preferred Supplier Agreement for steam generator replacements at the plant’s remaining units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.


The Project Administrator Assistant will report to the Project Leadership Team and will be responsible for supporting with administrative tasks.


What You'll Do Here


  • Maintain filing system for contract documents in accordance with auditing procedures.
  • Provide reports to directors as required.
  • Perform all administrative duties and support for site.
  • Maintain data compilation and tracking on key project issues.
  • Coordinate the ordering of office supplies as required by directors.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Assist the directors and managers in tracking analysis and forecasting of ongoing projects.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties for the Project Leadership Team.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for directors.


What You Will Bring To The Team


  • Currently enrolled in a business program or related study.
  • Strong communication skills and initiative.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Team player, flexible and able to work well with executive team members.
  • Multi-tasking and work within time constraints.
  • Strong communication skills and initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications in MS Windows environment.
  • Minimum 1 year construction experience considered an asset.
