M365 Administrator Jobs

LeverageTek is actively seeking a M365 Administrator for an 8-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote. Candidates must be located in Ontario or Gatineau only.

Key Tasks

• The Microsoft Administrator is tasked with implementing a set number of governance configurations in M365/AAD, as well as providing general third-level support as needed
• Execute Guest User Life Cycle process, which includes a cleanup of existing guests, creation of a process document, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), end-user experience expectations and the creation of an Access Review Policy
• Support/various other tasks that may be identified
• Support the organization by being a member of the Change Management process for M365, which will require review of all changes being deployed by Microsoft, identifying impact and executing any configuration needed for those changes
• Migrating users from Steam Classic to Modern
• Creation of Access Reviews for Privileged Accounts in AAD (Azure Active Directory), including a process document and configuration document
• Creation of a PowerPlatform Center of Excellence, which includes its base components as well as Governance; this requires documentation, knowledge transfer, and recommended configuration
• Separating Teams Policies to provide granular configuration, current configuration documentation and recommendation of best practices for those policies
• Implementing a Group Expiration Policy through a phased approach
• Currently seeking a hands-on Microsoft Administrator, who has experience in PowerShell, M365 migrations, implementations, creation of documentation and the understanding of security best-practices for the M365 environment
• Exclusive of support, each initiative mentioned will have set deliverables that must be achieved, and they will be identified at the beginning of each initiative. The below are a subset of initiatives

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of (5) years of experience M365 and Azure configuration, maintenance
• 1 of the following certifications is required: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, Messaging Administrator Associate
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading initiatives, creating user-impacting processes, and creating Administrator-grade documentation

Qualifications

• Experience migrating users from Steam Classic to Modern
• Minimum four (4) year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Experience with PowerShell, M365 migrations/implementations
• Experience in change management processes for M365
• Experience creating Access Reviews for Privileged Accounts in AAD
• Experience with Teams Policies and providing recommendations/best practices
• Excellent understanding of security best-practices for the M365 environment
• Experience creating a PowerPlatform Center of Excellence, including base components and Governance
• Experience implementing governance configurations in M365/AAD
• Experience with Guest User Life Cycle processes
• Experience with documentation
