Network Analyst Jobs

Our BC-based partner requires the need of several Intermediate Network Analysts to provide support on multiple projects to upgrade network equipment in communication rooms across various locations in the BC mainland area.

Responsibilities:

• Onsite work to gather information required for VOIP phone deployment.
• Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
• Onsite work to deploy new VOIP handsets.
• Inspect and test the operation of telecommunications equipment.
• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
• Ability to work on cross-connects on BIX, 66 & 110 blocks, all 2-pair telecom, and 4-pair network cabling.
• Racking networking equipment in Communications rooms
• Onsite work to troubleshoot analog and digital phones and Low voltage cabling in support of VoIP migration projects.
• Provide support and physical labor related to the work above.
• Provide network implementation/production cutover services outside of normal business hours, as required.

Required Experience:

• Three years (3) of demonstrated experience with voice network equipment implementation/planning, site assessments, low voltage cabling, racking and physical commissioning of voice and network equipment, and application of network standards and network issue problem-solving / troubleshooting.
• A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree or technical diploma in a program such as communications technology plus appropriate vendor network certification, and four years of recent data networking experience.
