Role Responsibilities


The VP – Service Delivery (GRE/Infrastructure) is expected to manage medium to large-sized Projects and/or Programs that are medium to high-complexity, broad in scope, interdependent, and have medium to long term implementation time frames. The role works closely with product owners, architects, engineers, vendors/partners, and line of business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions in support of Moody’s strategic and tactical initiatives. Primary focus for a PM is to manage control scope, timeline, cost, risk, and communications throughout the project lifecycle in accordance to Moody’s internal project management framework. This role will work in conjunction with many technical and business teams but the primary focus will be on Global Real Estate projects and their technical completions.


Organizational Responsibilities:


  • Team member role reports directly to TSG MD Strategy, Risk, and Governance.
  • Represent the values of Moody’s and TSG as a professional organization and individually demonstrate professionalism and respect to their team and stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve project management methodologies used within Moody’s TSG.
  • While reporting to Technology Services, be knowledgeable about and thoroughly represent the requirements and expectations of the Global Real Estate organization and drive their needs to conclusion utilizing the technical support teams.
  • Participates in Moody’s organizational events such as Quarterly Offsite and Team Meetings.
  • Provide expertise and consulting to project managers in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building and group motivation.


Project Work/Other:


  • Mentor and help to develop less experienced Project Managers
  • Align and combine mutually exclusive projects into programs where applicable.
  • Responsible for working with technical functional owners to determine technical office infrastructure standards; for example IDF closet structured cabling, rack, power, and environmentals.
  • Manage escalations, project/scope/requirement changes, and RAID logs to ensure adequate attention to impediments with potential impact to time/quality/resources.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement to increase customer satisfaction and decrease incidents / requests
  • Manage communications to all levels of stakeholders, proper issue tracking/reporting, and stakeholder validation of project progress / new business.
  • Serve as the champion and funnel point of contact for the full Global Real Estate portfolio of projects with the Technology Services Group and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee/manage all phases of projects from initiation to closure with full adherence and alignment with Moody’s internal project management framework.
  • Part of a project team delivering Global Real Estate projects on time, budget, and scope. This may include office builds, closures, consolidations, refreshes, upgrades, etc. May also participate in M&A integration projects.
  • Develop / track/ manage required project documentation and provide reporting cadence and distribution structure aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality requirements and are clearly documented.
  • Participate in group portfolio planning and prioritization efforts and accurately capture and communicate project priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efforts to communicate and implement them.
  • Participate in vendor selection processes (including RFPs and Pricing) and manage against deliverables (including SOWs, change management, approval of deliverables).
  • Develop and assign resourcing to activities, monitor performance.
  • May also oversee/manage a small team of Project Managers sharing similar GRE and/or M&A Integration work.


Qualifications


  • Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality
  • Experienced with MS Office Suite
  • Project management, Process Improvement or Quality certifications required
  • Recognized Project Management Methodology and Processes
  • Delivering Presentation to various audiences, including Senior Management
  • Understanding of various Project Management methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, RUP, Scrum)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Proven track record of being detail-oriented in project management with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through
  • Proven leadership abilities across all levels of an organization, including executive level
  • Infrastructure and Facilities experience with Network, Data Center, IDF/Server Closet infrastructure, structured cabling, environmentals (power, cooling), and carrier circuitry.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a related industry, specifically with technology infrastructure and Infrastructure integration
  • Ability to read, decipher, and/or use/modify CAD drawings for use in understanding facilities requirements, interacting with vendors, and/or creating IDF closet diagrams.
  • Managing project budgets and reporting
  • Experience managing a Program and Change Management
  • Experience running and managing Infrastructure projects such as network builds, data center consolidations, office refreshes, and structured cabling.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $143,800.00 to $208,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
