Job Description

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Representative for one of our clients.


What is in it for you:


  • On-site position (Saint John, NB)
  • Dynamic and professional environment.
  • Monday to Friday: Schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • 12 months contract.
  • Hourly salary of $17.50.


Responsibilities:


  • Solve customers hardware, software, and networking problems at first contact using multiple systems and software tools.
  • Contribute to knowledge systems to enhance the solutions the company provides to customers.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Resolve issues on the first call and engage escalated groups as appropriate.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Resolve incoming customer escalations through effective negotiation and escalate urgent issues to appropriate team as necessary.
  • Represent the company to customers in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Execute processes unique to major account customers to ensure service level agreements are met Interchange among a variety of systems and technologies.
  • Maintain product knowledge.
  • Provide feedback on policies and procedures to continuously improve customer experience.


What you need to succeed:


  • Technical support experience (an asset).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization & time management skills.
  • Post‐secondary education (an asset).
  • Ability to deliver results independently and as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision making.
  • Solid problem‐solving skills.
  • High level of achievement and self‐motivation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively - listening, written & verbal.
  • Solid Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively with attention to detail.
  • 1‐2 years of related experience (preferred).
  • Experience with troubleshooting technology issues such as Xbox, PlayStation, mobile devices, software, computers, printers, etc. (an asset).
