Summary


The Technical Support Specialist offers front-line technical support for the web and email filtering products. This will include chat, email, and direct contact with prospects, customers, and/or resellers.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Other duties as required.
  • Handle inquiries regarding setup and configuration, authentication, and general networking issues.
  • Record activity in the corporate CRM database and follow-up in a timely manner to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Handle escalations from frontline technicians and Sales Engineers.
  • Trouble-shoot software, hardware, and network issues for SWG (Secure Web Gateway), SEG (Secure Email Gateway), and IDR (Inbox Detection and Response) web/email filtering service.
  • Perform weekly case reviews with frontline technicians.


Requirements And Experience


  • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet protocols including WAN, routing, DNS, and HTTP.
  • Previous administration experience with Exchange Server, DNS, LDAP, and strong hands-on system administration/network administration with Unix operating systems.
  • Candidates may be asked to participate in some night shift work.
  • Solid experience with network hardware including switches, hubs, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL database schemas, administrative interface for HTTP browsers, and OAuth and NTLM/Kerberos single sign are all a plus.
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, MacOS and Windows operating systems are all a plus.
  • Hands-on System Administration/Network Administration experience with Windows client and server Operating systems.
  • Cisco (CCNA) or Microsoft (MCSE) certifications highly desirable.
  • 3+ years network engineering/system administration experience or equivalent support experience required.
  • Strong customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle a significant case load while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft-365 environments – especially with a focus on email and directory services.

Sommaire


Le spécialiste du soutien technique offre un soutien technique de première ligne pour les produits de filtrage du Web et des courriels. Cela inclut le chat, le courrier électronique et le contact direct avec les prospects, les clients et/ou les revendeurs.


Fonctions et responsabilités


Dépanner les problèmes de logiciel, de matériel et de réseau pour les services de filtrage web/email SWG (Secure Web Gateway), SEG (Secure Email Gateway) et IDR (Inbox Detection and Response).

Qualifications


Licence en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe, et/ou formation/expérience équivalente.


Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en ingénierie de réseau/administration de système ou une expérience équivalente dans le domaine du support sont requis.


Sens aigu du service à la clientèle et excellentes aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite.


Capacité à gérer une charge de travail importante tout en maintenant un niveau élevé de satisfaction de la clientèle.


Capacité à travailler en équipe et de manière indépendante.


Connaissance approfondie des protocoles TCP/IP et Internet, y compris WAN, routage, DNS et HTTP.
