Team Lead Community Manager

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Community Management Team Lead to join and manage Dead by Daylight’s talented community team. The Community Team Lead is tasked with building a mid-term strategic community plan that will improve the experience of our players both in-game and in our owned community channels. In this role, you will lead your team with empathy, guiding and supporting a diverse group of creative thinkers who are tasked daily with delivering engaging online content, planning social campaigns, and championing the player feedback loop within the game’s development team. Your mission is to empower your team to shine, and by doing that, improve Dead by Daylight’s community ecosystem and ultimately the game itself.

In this role you will :

• Evaluate new tools and trainings to better support our team’s goals.
• Work with team members to establish clear objectives with measurable KPIs for their projects;
• Deliver personal performance feedback and recognition regularly, as well as managing team HR activities (time off requests, timesheets, etc.);
• Work closely with the Community Director on setting the mid-term community strategy for Dead by Daylight;
• Oversee team’s day-to-day workload and prioritize tasks;
• Collaborate closely with partner teams (Production, Marketing, PR, etc) to ensure teamwork across all initiatives;
• Improve quality of team’s output, without overloading them, by analyzing, evaluating, and re-designing processes and workflow;
• Build strong internal relationships and meaningful processes to improve the impact of player advocacy efforts;
• Foster a collaborative and trusting team environment where every voice is valued and every team member has a plan for growth;
• Report on the work our team is doing, highlighting successes and learnings via performance data;

What we're looking for :

• Excellent organizations skills and a fondness for project management;
• Strong grasp of data-informed decision making;
• Scrum certification is a plus;
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential;
• Empathetic and understanding as a rule;
• You are a team player, and you know how to build a collaborative, supportive team dynamic;
• You play and enjoy video games, with a strong plus for those in the survival and/or horror genres.
• Experience working in the video game industry is a must;
• Background as a Community Manager/Developer;
• Experienced with developing regular reports and delivering that information into mixed-discipline teams;
• Experience leading or managing a community team;
