Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment as part of the College’s Marketing and Recruitment Department, the incumbent strives to maintain and increase full time and part-time enrolment for the ongoing success of the College.
The incumbent serves as a primary recruitment contact and ongoing liaison between the College and prospective students, community groups, secondary schools and other influencers in various matters relating to the application for admission, program information, course information, and college services. The incumbent recruits secondary, post-secondary and non-direct. The incumbent uses a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to create contacts and maintain relationships. Additionally, the incumbent will assist the Manager of Recruitment with planning, developing and implementing recruitment strategies including events and campaigns.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with others on projects;
  • This position is paid at Payband I
  • Valid Driver’s License is a requirement for this position.
  • Experience using a customer relationship management tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and simultaneously co-ordinate a variety of unrelated activities;
  • Three (3) year diploma or equivalent in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Communications, or Event Management;
  • Extensive experience in results-driven marketing and communications – in an academic setting;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in a public relations, marketing, sales or related lead generation field;
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking and measurement tools;
  • Demonstrated budget management and project management and event management;

The successful candidate must be available to work from Woodroffe (Ottawa) campus occasionally. This position is eligible for hybrid work in conjunction with the College's Flexible Work Arrangement Policy (subject to change).
