Become a Human Resources Coordinator - Temporary Assignment up to 12 Months with MPAC

You have:
- Ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
- Experience using an HRIS and applicant tracking system ex. SAP, PeopleSoft, Success Factors, Taleo or similar
- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skills and ability to multi-task on concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- At least 1 year of Human Resources experience in an HR Department
- Valid Ontario driver’s license required to travel to field offices and campus job fairs
- Knowledge of relevant employment-related legislation and practices and the ability to interpret and apply Collective Agreement language
Nice to have:
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, or working towards one
What you will do:
- Produce recruitment metrics to HR team for analysis and planning
- Provide support to HR Business Partners/Specialists in areas of Employee and Labour Relations, Disability Management, and projects
- Support the development and administration of testing tools for technical, professional and managerial roles
- Provide client services support on MPAC's Recruitment process and manage the Applicant Tracking System process and tools which includes but not limited to online pre-screen questionnaires, job description inventories, job postings, and offer letter templates
- Establish relationships with post-secondary institutions to coordinate corporate campus events, including booking venues, preparing/assembling distributing presentations and marketing materials, and coordinating presenters/MPAC representatives
- Attend and participate at campus networking events and job fairs as required
- Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, preparing interview questions and offer letters
- Coordinate and execute the summer student and co-op programs
