Job Description
The Workforce Coordinator works with Human Resources to facilitate the Regional Attendance Management Program (RAMP) and contributes to attaining the regional goals as it relates to absenteeism and workforce planning.


Tasks & Duties


  • Other duties as required
  • Working closely with unionized employees for continuous improvements in performance metrics
  • Coordinating the delivery of RAMP by addressing culpable and non-culpable absenteeism
  • Update and maintain department metrics, and compile reports for senior management
  • Partnering with Human Resources on projects related to Workplace Accommodations and WSIB
  • Implementing disciplinary actions as needed, as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Canada Labour Code


Education & Skills Required


  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience
  • Proven customer service and people-orientated skills; dealing with diverse backgrounds, experience and styles
  • Ability to adapt with continuously changing objectives and methods
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, detail oriented and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interdepartmental communication skills
