Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent oversees the day to day administrative and financial operations of the Department of Police and Public Safety Institute (PPSI) in the School of Wellness, Public Safety and Community Studies.
The incumbent provides guidance to the Chair and staff on all issues related to budget, policies and procedures as well as assist in the completion of the annual budget and quarterly reviews process.
The incumbent coordinates with the Department’s Academic Chair a range of administrative functions within the department such as part-time faculty contracts, payroll processes, faculty workload (SWF’s), course loading and timetabling.
The incumbent creates, prepares and monitors payroll contracts for part-time faculty members, faculty workloads, course loading and time tabling.
Required Qualifications

• This position is paid at Payband H
• A minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible business/ budgetary administration experience, preferably at a post-secondary institution.
• Three (3) Year Diploma/ Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting
• Vacancy is for P20021
