Job Description

SENIOR BRAND MANAGER, NIVEA Body


Beiersdorf Canada is seeking a dynamic individual who will challenge the status quo to guide us in achieving first class value creation, build trust with colleagues and partners, simplify our business processes, drive growth and fight for our share. The scope of this position is national.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create financial and manufacturing planning forecasts.
  • Execute annual product marketing plans to achieve share, volume and profit objectives (which includes leading the go-to-market process for new product launches, pricing, advertising and media planning, trade and consumer programs including sampling)
  • Proactively monitor, analyse and optimize marketing programs, competitive information, market trends, customer needs, professional communication and product performance in order to increase efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Control and monitor the development of sales, profit and market share vs. the annual business plan.
  • Conduct various analyses (i.e., category, ad-hoc market research, program evaluation for ROI, etc.)
  • Develop and implement new product launches in collaboration with international marketing teams
  • Develop mid-term and long-term strategic plans for the NIVEA Body Categories
  • Maintain and optimize marketing budget spending / ROI
  • Develop and deliver various presentations for management, sales organisation and trade customers, updating all decision-makers on the progress and status of product marketing plans
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-organizational business teams


DO YOU POSSESS…

  • 3-5 years of brand management experience in a consumer goods environment (Skin Care or Beauty category experience preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principals, combined with strong financial and analytical skills to provide key takeaways and recommendations
  • B. Comm. in Marketing
  • Solutions-oriented, takes initiative and has an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ideally proficient in Nielsen
  • Bilingual English and French ideal
  • Must be results-oriented, organised with strong project management capabilities in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate others

CHEF DE MARQUE SÉNIOR, NIVEA – Corps

Beiersdorf Canada recherche une personne dynamique qui n’a pas peur de bouleverser les habitudes pour nous guider vers une création de valeur de premier ordre, consolider la confiance entre collègues et avec nos partenaires, simplifier nos processus commerciaux, générer de la croissance et défendre pour notre part de marché. La portée de ce poste est nationale.


PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Élaborer et présenter divers exposés à l’intention de la direction, de l’organisation des ventes et des commerçants.
  • Établir des prévisions liées à la planification financière et de la production
  • Élaborer des plans stratégiques à moyen et à long terme pour la catégorie NIVEA Corps
  • Contrôler et analyser l’évolution des ventes, des profits et des parts de marché et comparer avec les prévisions commerciales annuelles
  • Maintenir et optimiser les dépenses budgétaires de marketing/RCI
  • Analyser et contrôler les programmes marketing, l’information de la concurrence, les tendances du marché, les besoins des consommateurs et ajuster les stratégies et les tactiques en conséquence dans le but de maximiser leur efficacité.
  • Diriger des équipes commerciales multi-organisationnelles et collaborer avec elles
  • Effectuer diverses analyses (c.-à-d., catégorie, études de marché ad hoc, évaluation de programme pour le RCI, etc.).
  • Préparer et exécuter les lancements de nouveaux produits, en collaboration avec les équipes de marketing internationales
  • Exécuter les plans annuels de marketing de produits afin d’atteindre les objectifs liés à la part de marché, au volume de ventes et aux profits (comprend la direction du processus de mise en marché et le lancement des nouveaux produits, l’établissement des prix, la publicité et les médias, les programmes visant les commerçants et les consommateurs, y compris la distribution d’échantillons)


POSSÉDEZ-VOUS…

  • Esprit axé sur les solutions, combiné à des capacités solides en gestion de projet
  • 3-5 années d’expérience en gestion de marque dans un environnement de produits de consommation courante (expérience souhaitable dans le secteur des soins de la peau ou de la beauté)
  • Maîtrise de MS Office (spécialement Excel et PowerPoint)
  • Expérience de Nielsen
  • Bilingue (anglais-français)
  • Excellentes aptitudes de communication et interpersonnelles

  • Baccalauréat en marketing
