Sr. Business Systems Analyst’s primary duties are to evaluate and identify areas or projects for Sphera’s CRM tool to maximize and optimize the user experience as well as improve analytics. The Analyst is also required to have experience in process mapping and system architectural documentation. He or she will also be required to coordinate and manage projects across functional areas as well as be able to communicate effectively and set the appropriate expectations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage testing of the CRM system as well as manage user testing to ensure that it meets business requirements and functions properly.
  • Analyze the data flows between the systems to ensure that data is properly synchronized and transferred between systems. This could involve analyzing the existing data flows or designing new data flows to ensure that all relevant data is captured.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, define, and clarify scope of problems or issues as well as develop a functional spec based on the business requirements and process to improve data quality and efficiency. Be able to document in detail functional specifications that outline how the system should function to meet business requirements including defining system processes, designing system workflows, and mapping data requirements.
  • Project manage CRM-related projects from initiation to completion working closely with other functional and technical teams including planning, scheduling, testing, training, and other coordination.
  • Analyze the current system and identify areas for improvement or optimization. This may involve reviewing system functionality, assessing data quality, and evaluating system performance as well as the ability to see the big picture across all functional teams utilizing the system.
  • Identify and document the current structure and functionality of the system and also the specific integration requirements with other key systems at Sphera, such as Netsuite.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with users, vendors, and other IT professionals. Needs to be focused on setting expectations and effectively communicating status.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in business systems, system analysis, and data analysis.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with industry-standard implementation and integration of CRM tool, such as Salesforce.com.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in complex systems
